Learn about us, and the mission of Snowmotion Dance

  • DO I NEED A PARTNER?
No, you do not need a partner for any of our beginner, intermediate, private classes or our social.
  • WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO CLASS?
Please wear comfortable attire and pay attention to your shoes. Please bring a pair of shoes that has not been recently worn outside. We also recommend shoes with suede soles or a semi slippery bottom to allow you to turn and pivot on the dance floor. if you are considering dance as a long term activity, we recommend Latin or Jazz dance shoes. Please send us an email if you would like recommendations.
  • CAN I DROP-IN TO A SERIES OR DO I NEED TO WAIT UNTIL WEEK 1?
For any of our beginner classes you can drop-in at any time. The first part of class will always focus on the basic steps, how to connect with a partner and leading and following techniques. After we learn and/or review the fundamentals a new move will be introduced each week. The more weeks you can attend the easier it will become. If you want to drop in to an intermediate class mid series you will need to speak with Sarah prior to the class.
  • HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR ME TO BECOME A GOOD DANCER?
Becoming a skilled dancer is a journey that varies for each individual. It depends on factors like dedication, practice, hard work, being dedicated to growth in areas that need improvement, and your personal learning pace. Consistent attendance, practice outside of class, and a positive mindset are key. Some may see noticeable improvement in a few weeks, while others may take a few months.
  • WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?
Classes are located at South End Studio 696 Pine Street Burlington, VT. Park in the back of the building, go in through the back door and we are the first door on the right.
